Checking Your Weather: A 4-Week Series


What is your internal weather like now?

Join this series of online classes in January as you check your internal weather and practice in a way that honors your seasons and cycles.

Classes will begin with a short series of supported movements that invite you to turn your attention to the internal weather patterns of your body-mind. Are there high pressures? Low pressures? Do your thoughts swirl like the wind? Is there space and light? These inquiries will build into postures and movements you can adapt to meet your needs.

Just like weather patterns in nature, your weather patterns are influenced by the seasons and will come and go. You have the ability to cultivate skills that help you fortify yourself and adapt to your internal weather. Yoga and movement practice is one method of working with your weather patterns in a harmonious way.

  • Week Three: How do the seasons impact your internal weather?

  • Week Four: How does your practice help you honor your internal weather?


Logistics

Dates: Thursdays, January 19, 26, & Feb 2, 9

Time: 5:45 - 6:45 pm PST (8:45-9:45 pm EST)

Tuition: Sliding Scale $45-80 (includes recording)


Important Notes

  • 60-minute practice recorded for you to repeat as many times as you want.

  • A recording will be uploaded to a private YouTube link. Available indefinitely.

  • No refunds or credits.

  • When you register using Momence, the class time will automatically adjust to your time zone.

  • The Zoom link is emailed approximately 1 hour before class starts. You may also access the link using your Momence account.


Recommended Props:

  • 1-2 yoga blocks

  • a yoga blanket (or beach towel)

  • a yoga strap (or something similar)
